Rose Hydrosol 4oz

Rose hydrosol is perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It has been used for thousands of years to balance, hydrate, soften and revitalize dull or dry skin while leaving a soft rose scent behind. Often confused with Rose water, Rose hydrosol is actually a higher quality product that does not include any synthetic fragrances and is artisan-crafted in a labor-intensive steam distillation process.

Our hydrosols are handcrafted in small batches using an alembic copper still over 3-4 hours and are great for skin and hair and can be used on both. This Rose hydrosol was made with roses from Hawk Creek Farm, a local non-profit educational farm located in San Francisco. 

Their essence contains the joy and lightness of being grown without pesticides, amongst young people learning to tend to the earth in a holistic way. It has been said that roses are the most evolved flower in the botanical realm and the lightly scented rose aroma of this spray gives notes of honey and sunshine.

Face

Mist face with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol. This product can be used throughout the day or evening to refresh skin and moisturize. We recommend sealing moisture in by combining with our Sensitive Skin Face Serum. Add a dime-sized amount of oil with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol in your hand, then gently press into clean skin. Alternatively, mist face with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol. We recommend applying a face oil or another moisturizer on top before hydrosol dries to seal in the full benefits of moisturization.

Hair

Mist hair with 7-10 sprays of hydrosol. Can be used before brushing to help detangle and protect hair from breakage. To set curls using hydrosol after showering, scrunch 5+ sprays of hydrosol into curls going in sections. Finish by misting your whole head and blow drying with a diffuser.
